Farmer Meets Chef - Week 3!

This week we are taking you back to the basics. With fall coming and the weather cooling, warm your belly with some comfort food classics! We took the nostalgic TV dinner, made it with fresh and wholesome ingredients and gave it a modern twist – The Streaming TV Dinner! The Ready-to-Eat meal this week is a creamy, cheesy potato casserole called tartiflette (french mountain food).. Need I say more? Then, when you’re ready to get cooking, we’ve included all the fixings for Italian Sloppy Joes – a family favorite! Enjoy!

Tartiflette - Creamy Potato Casserole

This gooey, creamy baked casserole of potatoes, cream, brie cheese, bacon, and onions is true French mountain food…maybe we don’t have mountains…but we love taters.

Glazed Honeycrisp Apple Fritter Cake

Cinnamon cake layered with fresh, local Honeycrisp Apples and topped with a salted-vanilla glaze. The perfect fall treat!

NUMBER 1 - Italian Style Sloppy Joes

  1. Heat sloppy Joe mix in saucepan on stove top or warm up in microwave.
  2. Brush each roll with your olive oil
  3. Sprinkle each side of the roll with our prepared spice mix
  4. Heat the Rolls on stovetop or put in oven for 5 minutes @350
  5. Place Shredded Mozzarella on each side of the roll and fill with sloppy joe mixture
  6. Finish the sandwich off with grated parmesan , dash of red pepper flakes if desired and capers

Meal includes House potato wedges

  1. Heat wedges in oven for 15 minutes @ 350

NUMBER 2 - Tartiflette

This meal comes in a pyrex dish!

Remove cover and bake @ 375 for 20 minutes or golden brown.

Let cool for 10 minutes to let cheese melt.

NUMBER 3 - Streaming TV Dinner

This meal includes mashed potatoes and peas & carrots in a traditional TV dinner…2024 style!
