From Head Baker Greg Wade: Rye is one of my favorite grains to work wtih. When grown well, it’s floral & spicy and brings character to every loaf it is featured in. For the malted rye we take rye malt, like a brewer would use for a rye beer, we toast it & mill it in house to make this deep & robust loaf.
The Seeded Rye is our take on an American Pumpernickel- flavored with molasses and charnuska, this bread is unique & highly aromatic
